WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Christmas spirit has already made it’s way to the port city and on board the Battleship North Carolina.
This afternoon The Battleship held their annual Battleship Ho Ho Ho event featuring an appearance from Santa.
The Museum Services Director said Black Friday is one of their busiest days of the year.
Last year they had 1,300 guest check out their holiday event kicking of the Christmas season.
“I mean I think none of us outgrows the thrill of seeing Santa. An idea they love using a vintage type writer, they love climbing on the guns ya know I think anything the kids can do that’s hands on,” Sincox said.
Along with visiting Santa children could use old fashioned type writers to type a letter to send to the North Pole.
Sincox said the Ho Ho Ho Battleship is always a fun event for families to enjoy together.
